The Philadelphia Eagles have re-signed Michael Vick to a
one-year deal according to sources including ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Chris
Mortensen. Entering the 2013 offseason, a big question around the NFL was
whether the Eagles were going to re-sign Vick. New head coach Chip Kelly must
think that Vick is his man as it’s interesting that the Eagles re-signed him
this early.
With Kelly’s
no-huddle fast paced offense, Vick should either thrive in this system or he
will fail. The question with Vick is that everyone knows that he is an
explosive quarterback, but with his various injuries over the past couple
seasons, can he survive a whole season under Kelly?
