The Madness has returned

It’s finally that time of year when baseball is back but perhaps the greatest tradition of March is college basketball’s “March Madness.” The NCAA Basketball Tournament is one of the greatest traditions in sports as 68 teams enter the single-elimination tournament having the goal of winning a title. From the underdogs upsetting the perennial favorites to the buzzer beaters that define a college basketball player for the rest of his life, March Madness brings over three weeks of excitement for college basketball fans everywhere.
This year, the defending champion didn’t even make the tournament, a school was awarded a #1 seed for the first time in school history, and we saw the last of the Big East. We still have yet to see a  team prove that they are the best in the nation like Kentucky did last year. From watching college basketball this year, expect the unexpected.
Now comes the hard part where millions of people try to pick the correct bracket. Do you go with the favorites such as Kansas and Indiana? Or is this the year that a New Mexico or VCU makes the Final Four? Picking a bracket can be so stressful but just go with your gut.
Now it’s time to let the Madness begin.
