49ers headed to Super Bowl XLVII

For the first time sine 1995, the San Francisco 49ers are headed to the Super Bowl after a come from behind victory over the Atlanta Falcons.
In his second season as the head coach and making the NFC Championship for the second straight year, Jim Harbaugh has become one of the best coaches in the league.
The season turned around for the 49ers during week 11 when Harbaugh decided to start second year QB Colin Kaepernick over Alex Smith. Despite criticism, Kaepernick has shined as starting quarterback and proven to the doubters that Harbaugh made the right decision to start him over Smith.
The 49ers are 5-0 in Super Bowl appearances and now await the winner of the AFC Championship Game between the Baltimore Ravens and the New England Patriots.
